Are you a newly qualified Speech and Language Therapist, or experienced but seeking new opportunities, and looking to join a dynamic team of Adult therapists?  This is an exciting opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills in relation to speech, language, communication, and dysphagia therapy with adults in a range of community settings.

The South Ayrshire Adult SLT team operate a single system model and work across an acute hospital, a community hospital, and community services.  We work in partnership with colleagues in health, social care, voluntary services, and the third sector to provide a genuinely person-centred service in a variety of locations, including remote working.

You will be well supported by a number of speech therapists and assistant practitioners. You will work within the South Ayrshire Adult Community SLT team and in partnership with other community services.  All posts involve joint working and there are opportunities to take part in training with more experienced colleagues. You will receive Band 5 peer support and participate in a supervision programme.

You must be able to effectively manage your own time, and demonstrate excellent communication skills. An interest in working with people, their families & carers is essential.

Applicants must have access to a car and hold a full UK driving licence.

There is the opportunity for new graduates to commence early as band 4HCSW while pending HCPC registration
