Reporting directly to the Estate Officer (Building) - East, you will be part of a team responsible for the delivery of buildingg services within a hospital environment, as well as supervising building staff and monitoring various sub contractors.  Based at University Hospital Crosshouse, you will also cover all NHS properties within the East Sector.

A recognised apprenticeship, experience in building maintenance (joinery and plumbing) and a City & Guilds Craft Certificate is essentila.  Experience of engineering/building services within a hospital environment along with supervisory experience is desirable.

You will also be required to take part in an on call rota and be able to work at other hospitals within Ayrshire to meet the demands of the service.

A driving license is essential for this post.

Hours: 37.5 per week (8.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00 to 1.30pm
