We are delighted to advertise this exciting opportunity for a band 6 Occupational Therapist in the Edinburgh Memory Assessment and Treatment Service (MATS).  This is a new permanent post, to develop the role of Occupational Therapy in assessing those with memory and cognitive changes.  The successful candidate will work alongside nursing and medical colleagues in MATS, and the Occupational Therapy team in the Older People’s Community Mental Health Team.

You will be passionate about our profession and committed to working with people experiencing cognitive difficulties, to ensure that Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment is carried out as early in the person’s journey as possible.  Alongside the Occupational Therapy team lead you will gather evidence on the role of Occupational Therapy in memory assessment and treatment, to support the future development of this service.
