Are you looking to develop your skills working in community services as part of an established, cohesive and friendly team?
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Dietitian to join our busy Community/Primary Care dietetic team based at North West Kilmarnock Area Centre. Working alongside dietitians and support workers, you will provide evidence based dietetic service to a range of clinical specialties. You will have responsibility for the day to day management of your own caseload and will be supported to be a core contributor to the department’s shared caseload. By operating a partly shared team caseload we are able to offer excellent opportunities for clinical supervision and shadowing in a wide range of clinical areas. You will have the opportunity to work towards the completion of Flying Start and dependent on experience, take part in our practice placement programme. The department provides training to A, B and C placement student dietitians.
You should possess an honours degree/postgraduate diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. Experience in acute dietetics would be an advantage. Evidence of competencies and skills required to deliver this post is essential e.g. excellent time management, organisational skills, self-motivation and good interpersonal skills. We would consider applications for those graduating this Spring/Early Summer with HCPC registration pending.
