An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and innovative Dietitian to come and work within NHS GG&C Dietetic Service has arisen. This vacancy, within the General Medical and Gastroenterology team, is based at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and involves working with a highly complex group of patients with complex general medical problems including patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Liver Disease, Medical High Dependency and Respiratory and Cardiology problems.
This post is part of a pan NHSGGC clinical general medical and gastroenterology specialty, working with dietetic colleagues pan NHS GGC is well established. This supports professional practice and patient centred care across all clinical specialties. This post is one of several Specialist Dietitian posts within this team, and is led by a Band 7 Clinical Team lead with 2 Advanced Practitioner posts in gastroenterology. You will also contribute to dietetic practice placements.
You should be able to demonstrate core clinical skills at band 5 across a range of clinical conditions. This would usually be 18 months post graduate clinical experience. A BSc in Human Nutrition & Dietetics and HCPC registration are essential. PVG scheme membership and Disclosure Scotland checks are also required.
