NHS Grampian has an exciting opportunity within Maternity Services for an experienced midwife to join the existing midwifery leadership team on an interim basis to cover a period of maternity leave. This is an exciting development opportunity and you will be supported to lead and progress key service improvements across NHS Grampian in this interim role.
If you have the passion to provide high quality midwifery care and you are an experienced senior midwife looking for an opportunity to lead midwifery care into the 21st century then this is the right development opportunity for you.
This interim post will enable the post holder to use their midwifery expertise to promote evidence based clinical pathways in maternity care, lead midwifery practice within all areas of the maternity service in NHS Grampian, and be supported by the leadership team.
The role will lead and support midwives to realise their full potential as autonomous practitioners, placing women and their families at the centre of care, planning and supporting the delivery of ‘Best Start’ and creating new ways of working with innovation to improve outcomes, support service development and quality improvement in NHS Grampian.
