2 x Full Time Relief Resource Planner
The West Region Workforce Planning Department are seeking an enthusiastic, adaptable individual to undertake the resource planning role across the Region.
The successful applicant will be based within the resource planning team at Motherwell and will be responsible for providing, through careful and efficient planning and organisation, a comprehensive level of administrative support to ensure the most effective utilisation of resources as well as covering holidays, sickness within the department.
The role will include providing all operational personnel with shifts, utilising relief staff to their full potential, liaising with Managers and Team Leaders to ensure that leave is rostered correctly. The role also includes providing timely, accurate information regarding resource planning to managers and relevant Departments within the Service.
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate previous experience in an administrative or clerical position, preferably within scheduling or resource planning. Also required is confidence and competence in the use of IT, the ability to work on own initiative and demonstrate a logical and methodical approach to problem solving, along with accuracy and attention to detail. The successful candidate will require to be flexible, working across the Regional planning function for all areas.
