As a Specialist Physiotherapist post you will work in the Learning Disabilities Physiotherapy team. You will based at North West Kilmarnock Area Centre, but with input to the Learning disability service throughout Ayrshire. You will be passionate about the role Physiotherapy plays in the lives of people with learning disabilities.
You will have a specialist, clinical role in treating adults with learning disabilities and complex physical health conditions. You will work in community and outpatient services within learning disability services. You will be expected to contribute to service developments, provide education, and work with other members of the physiotherapy and multidisciplinary team within learning disabilities services and more widely, across Ayrshire and Arran.
You must demonstrate clinical experience in a wide range of physiotherapy specialities experience and/or a proven interest within the field of learning disabilities. On call required.
A car owner/driver is essential.
