Job Advert

You will provide clinical, professional and managerial leadership to nursing staff within Stroke and Older People’s Services supporting the achievement of organizational and directorate objectives and quality standards.

You will be a credible leader and have a consistent approach to supporting the clinical and managerial teams in the delivery and achievement of high quality compassionate and person centered care, whilst simultaneously driving quality initiatives and financial efficiency across the Directorate.

You must demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, ensuring robust governance processes in place to support the delivery and assurance of excellent person centered care.

You will be actively involved in collaboration with the MDT in the further development of stroke pathways, and the new anticipated thrombectomy service to achieve optimum care for stroke patients across the service, ensuring achievement of HEAT targets.

Applicants should be First Level Registered Nurse with extensive experience as a Band 7 Senior Charge Nurse / equivalent with a first level degree / supplemented / equivalent.

 The shift pattern is Monday to Friday day shifts.
