Are you passionate about making a real difference in your nursing career?  We would like to invite you to gain valuable experience as a specialist nurse supporting lung cancer patients and their families from diagnosis, through treatment and during follow up.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated nurse to join our lung cancer CNS team on a Part-Time basis.
You will be a member of an important and highly valued Multidisciplinary Cancer Team.
The role involves managing and maintaining a caseload of lung cancer patients, undertaking nurse-led clinics: face to face, telephone and follow-up of patients. A responsibility of the role will be to provide specialist information, support, advice and education to the patient and their family (in-patients and out-patients) from diagnosis and throughout the whole cancer pathway on treatment/management of their cancer.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurses who already possess or are working towards non-medical prescribing.  You should have evidence of significant post registration professional practice experience to undertake and fulfil the key areas for this post.
