            Practice Development Nurse: Fluid Management
          Band 7 (2 years secondment/ fixed term)
           West Glasgow ACH with board wide travel 

This secondment/ fixed term opportunity has arisen to provide expertise in improvement science to support, facilitate and guide the implementation of the National IV Fluid guidelines across adult acute services in NHSGGC.
The post holder will play a key role in planning, priority setting and decision making to ensure the National IV Fluid work stream is implemented across the acute division in a timely manner. They will be expected to develop and deliver education and use improvement methodology to demonstrate implementation and improvements in relation to fluid management. They must have the ability to work autonomously, exemplifying positive behaviours and attitudes and provide support, encouragement and motivation when working with many multidisciplinary teams 
Applicants should be a Registered Nurse (RN), educated to Degree level with a minimum of 5 years post-registration experience and having a masters or working towards one would be desirable. It’s anticipated that applicants would possess a Quality Improvement Qualification e.g. SciLs/SCLIP etc or evidence of work based application of improvement science. 
Potential applicants must seek support to be released as per the terms of the secondment from their manager prior to application.
The shift pattern for this post is Mon-Fri 9-5
