This is an opportunity for a Higher Clerical Officer  to enhance their knowledge and skills working alongside the Data Processing Support team based in Coathill Hospital.

The position of the higher Clerical officer will be to provide a comprehensive administrative and clerical support to clinical and non-clinical staff in order to ensure the smooth running of the service.

Where appropriate, supervise clerical staff and provide support to line manager.


We are seeking a enthusiastic & dedicated individual who will have  experience in working in an Administrative and Clerical role.

Be educated to Higher Grade level and demonstrate Proficient I.T. skills which include a working knowledge of Microsoft packages.

Have an understanding of a range of procedures and processes.

Have the ability ability to supervise staff while providing good organisational and planning skills.

Demonstrate  well developed interpersonal skills in customer care.

Possess excellent communication skills while ensuring confidentiality, diplomacy and discretion are maintained at all times.

Have the ability to prioritise workload  using their  own initiative whilst under pressure.
