An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapist to join the critical care and surgical team at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital on a full-time permanent basis

It is essential that you are educated to Diploma/Degree level in physiotherapy while being registered with HCPC. You should have significant relevant post graduate
clinical experience in surgical and critical care. This post involves a complex and varied caseload incorporating patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge planning. Our therapy services provide rehabilitation to a diverse patient group to include Major Trauma patients and a varied spectrum of surgical specialities e.g. ENT, maxillo-facial, plastics, general surgery, colorectal surgery and critical care. You must have some specialist knowledge of this area of healthcare and relevant experience is essential. You will
be clinically responsible for rotational staff, support worker staff and students, inducting, training and managing staff on a daily basis. You will be responsible for supporting audit, research, service improvement and development. Innovative, communicative and driven, you will have excellent interpersonal skills to provide a high level of patient care in a challenging yet rewarding clinical area. You will be actively encouraged to participate in CPD, audit and research in line with the 4 pillars of practice
