Applications are invited from Health and Care Professions Council state registered Biomedical Scientists to join our team providing a comprehensive Histopathology Service in the Central Scotland area. The post will be based at Forth Valley Royal Hospital. The Laboratory provides Histology, Cytology, Andrology and Mortuary support to the acute hospital and General Practice.
Applicants must have;
- A BSc honours degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent, which is acceptable for HCPC registration and completion of the Institute of Biomedical Science registration portfolio.
- Formal evidence of specialist knowledge of a range of discipline specific procedures to postgraduate diploma level or equivalent.
- A minimum of two years post HCPC registration experience
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
