An exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a full time Band 7 Practice Education Facilitator within the Integrated Practice Education Team, on a permanent basis. The post holder will have an office base in Woodend with travel across Aberdeen city and, at times, across Grampian.
We are seeking a motivated, innovative registered nurse or midwife to be part of the of the Integrated Practice Education Team, led by a Lead Practice Educator, who together will be responsible for supporting pre and post registration training and education within Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership. They will also have the ability to work across NHS Grampian and engage with the nursing and midwifery workforce at all levels to implement change and support ongoing development.
Applicants should be a Nurse or Midwife with current NMC registration and;
- Have extensive experience at Band 6 or above, in posts which included supporting, supervising and assessing learners
- Hold a post graduate learning and teaching qualification
- Able to demonstrate an ability to motivate and influence change, using highly developed interpersonal and diplomacy skills
- Line management experience would be advantageous, as this post has line management responsibility for B6 Practice Education staff
