The Role

To undertake the comprehensive assessment and treatment of clients who present with musculoskeletal problems using investigative and analytical skills through assessments. To work as a member of the Physiotherapy Team providing a professionally competent service, aiming to provide advice and treatment to patients attending Physiotherapy in a safe clinical environment.

What we'll need you to bring

  • Registered Physiotherapist with valid HCPC Registration
  • The post holder will be required to demonstrate excellent team working skills with the ability to work using own initiative
  • Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Working knowledge of basic information technology
  • Must have  access to a car and have a full UK/EU/EEA drivers licence.

It would be great if you also have

  • Member of CSP
  • Team working involving MDT
  • For community posts:
  • Rehabilitation experience in community or acute setting
  • Experience or interest in specialist area
  • Knowledge and evidence of continuous professional development
  • Leadership skills

Location and Working Pattern

There are a number of vacancies which will be based in the following Physiotherapy Departments across NHS Lanarkshire: Chryston, Cumbernauld, Airdrie, Coatbridge, Motherwell, Udston, Rutherglen, Lanark & Carluke. Interviews will be completed together and preferred locations will be discussed with successful candidates.

The working pattern for this role is Monday to Friday.
