We are seeking Therapy Support Workers to join our newly established Community Reablement Team in West Dunbartonshire. We would welcome applications from skilled and motivated individuals with genuine interest in supporting people to regain the skills they need to live independently. Your role will be pivotal in supporting earlier discharge from hospital and promoting independence in the community. You will carry a delegated caseload with the support and supervision of a Specialist Occupational Therapist. The successful candidate should be trained to SQV level 3, demonstrate a positive attitude and effective communication skills, and have knowledge of the reablement ethos. Experience of working in a similar speciality would be advantageous. A genuine interest in people is essential and experience of working within health and social care in a person centred manner would be advantageous. A thorough induction and ongoing training will be available and, as a founding member of the team, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to service development.
