Would you like to work in a supportive, dynamic and welcoming Occupational Therapy team?  An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our newly established Band 5 Occupational Therapy rotation within PRI and South Perthshire.

We are looking for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist who would like to develop their skills within physical rehabilitation services, possess good communication and decision making skills and have a positive approach to multidisciplinary team working and person centred care.  The advertised post provides an excellent opportunity for either graduate or established Band 5 Occupational Therapists wishing to gain experience in the following clinical areas.


  • Elective Orthopaedics
  • Orthopaedic Rehabilitation/Medicine for the Elderly
  • Medical/Surgery
  • Stroke Rehabilitation
  • Community Rehabilitation including community hospitals

 In line with the evidence base and the strategic direction of NHS Tayside, the Allied Health Professions will be moving towards 7 day working.  This is for improved outcomes and to maximise a person-centred equitable approach to care.  Therefore all new contracts for AHP staff will be for a 5 out of 7 day service/rota to enable the service to be ready to move to a safe and effective 7 day service. 

Perth and Kinross OT Service provides excellent formal and informal supervision, actively supports individual development through performance development review and learning plans, provides a framework for encouraging CPD and promotes innovative practice.

Applicants must be registered with HCPC.
