Community Nursing Service - South Team (Leurbost base)
Community Staff Nurse
Band 5 £33,247 - £41,424 pro rata
Plus Distant Islands Allowance £1,408 pro rata
21.60 hours per week
Fixed Term post for 12 months (Maternity Cover)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Staff Nurse to join the Southside Community Nursing team. This post will be based in the Lochs area with the wider team covering Lochs and Harris. This post offers a unique opportunity to work within a remote and rural setting.
The post holder will have the opportunity to contribute to the high-quality care of patients in their own home, community setting or community treatment room. The post holder will work as part of the wider multidisciplinary team to enable and empower individuals, families and communities to engage in healthy lifestyles and plan and implement care in order to enable individuals to stay in their own homes.
Some experience of working within a community setting would be desirable for this role. Training and support will be provided.
A flexible approach to working is required. The post holder will be required to work on-call until 8pm and work at weekends on a rota basis. You will be a car owner/driver with a full UK driving licence.
