Job Advert

In this role you will be responsible for a catering service to patients and staff within the hospital. Clean crockery, cutlery, utensils, containers and small scale equipment manually or though the dish washers. Clean floors, work surfaces, furnishings and related equipment manually and by use of machine.

Prepare and present sandwiches. Assist Chef’s with basic food preparation and cooking. You will comply with food hygiene regulations with regard to food service equipment cleaning and departmental cleanliness, maintain high personal hygiene standards.  You will comply with Health and Safety regulations, adhere to manual handling/risk assessment/fire safety training and report faulty equipment.  You will participate as a team member, operate cash register at point of service, setting up, clearing and cleaning of the staff dining room for service and store goods correctly and use stock on a rotational basis. You do not need experience or qualifications for this post as all training will be given.  There are 2 positions available with this vacancy one full time post 37.5hrs and one part time post for 25hrs.  The shift pattern for the posts are

25hrs – Monday Friday 12.30pm – 5.30pm

37.5hrs – Monday – Friday 7.00am – 3.00pm
