We are looking for a suitable motivated individual to work within the Acute Stroke Unit (Ward B21) at Forth Valley Royal Hospital. The acute stroke unit is a 23 bedded acute stroke/rehabilitation combined unit which aims to deliver a high standard of care throughout the patients’ stroke journey. We are looking for enthusiastic, hard working health care support workers who will be part of our multi-disciplinary team. Previous experience in a caring role is desirable but not essential.

The post holders will have the responsibility of helping deliver care needs and supporting the clinical care standards within the ward environment. The post holder will have the opportunity to learn stroke specific skills and will be supported in this. This post is rotational days/nights and the successful candidates will be expected to be flexible to meet the demands of the organisation.

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. More information on this scheme can be found at www.disclosurescotland.co.uk
