An excellent and exciting opportunity has arisen for two high calibre Management Accountants to join NHS Tayside’s Finance Directorate within the Acute Services Division and the Infrastructure/ Risk team.
The Finance Directorate has recently re-structured to enable delivery of the highest quality financial management service in line with organisational objectives and priorities. With the aim of being the best we can be, this is an exciting opportunity to join a modern Finance team within the NHS in Tayside. You will work within a team of motivated and forward-thinking professionals whilst also working in parallel with a range of clinical and operational services providing a comprehensive financial management service to ensure effective budgetary control and financial balance, demonstrating your proactive approach, initiative and ability to prioritise workload. The ability of the Finance Team to add value in shaping the future of healthcare delivery directly contributes toward the key aim of improving the health of our population.
We are looking for two enthusiastic individuals with relevant management accounting experience, either fully qualified or making progress towards a recognised professional accountancy qualification. Strong analytical skills, a proactive approach and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders are essential skills.
Salary placement will be dependent on progress towards full membership of a recognised professional accountancy body and/or experience to date.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
