Fixed Term - Until 30th November 2020
The post holder will be based at one of the 2 Acute hospitals in Edinburgh-the Western General Hospital or the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, working mainly in the Medical wards including a Stroke Unit and Medicine of the Elderly wards. Population and demographic indicators of the area are: [Adults in acute and rehabilitation settings] Staff responsibility – Supervise clinical workload of support workers, assistant practitioners and students. The post holder is employed within NHS Lothian and there may be a requirement to work flexibly across Lothian to meet service demands, after following relevant ER policy. This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
