As an EMIS Administration Assistant based within the East Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership, you will provide a comprehensive EMIS clerical service for East Ayrshire District Nursing Teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. Primary duties will mainly be transcribing answering machine messages, receiving calls and population of EMIS, face to face interaction with colleagues, relatives and patients and dealing with telephone enquiries from patients, relatives, GPs and other external and internal agencies. With relevant IT qualifications (ECDL) experience, previous Hospital/Community, experience and EMIS experience is desirable, however training will be provided.
The post is 37.5 hours per week working Monday – Friday.
This is a fixed-term contract ending on 31/10/22.
