An exciting opportunity has arisen for a substantive Consultant Colorectal based at University Hospital Wishaw.

The successful applicant will join a dynamic Surgical Unit consisting of 5 Colorectal Surgeons, 5 Upper GI Consultants, participating in 1:10 on call rota.

This busy District General Hospital was the first in NHS Lanarkshire to offer laparoscopic colorectal resection to all patients by all members of the team. Interests include a large Sacral Nerve stimulation practice, complex inflammatory Bowel Disease, laparoscopic ventral rectopexy and the endoscopic management of complex polyps with the biggest ESD practice in the West of Scotland.
