​​​​​​​There are 2 fixed term posts of 12 months over various locations within Renfrewshire HSPC.  An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced registered nurse who already holds a first level adult nursing degree to join our team as a community band 5 staff nurse.  Applicants to the post require to have significant nursing experience and demonstrable leadership and communication skills and evidence on continuing development.  They must be passionate about a career in community services and be motivated to work autonomously within a dynamic environment as part of the wider HSCP.  As a community staff nurse you will work within the Primary health Care team and under the direction and supervision of the District Nurse will assess and deliver an agreed plan of care to individuals within a community setting.  As you move through completion of the academic programme you will be supported by a DN practice supervisor and practice assessor to allow you to develop and consolidate practice prior to becoming a District Nurse.     A clean current driving licence is required.  

​​​​​​​The shift pattern for this post is Monday – Friday 0830-1630 including back shifts 1430-2230 and weekends and public holidays
