As the country recovers from the pandemic the Quality Assurance Directorate of Healthcare Improvement Scotland have interesting and exciting opportunities for enthusiastic individuals who want to be part of the delivery of complex national programmes which support health and social care providers to improve the quality of care that people receive in Scotland.
As an experienced healthcare professional, with experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be making care better through the inspection of NHS acute and community hospitals, health boards, health & social care partnerships across Scotland with a focus on improved outcomes for people experiencing care.
Candidates will have a continuing professional registration and preferably have a Masters level degree and/or a post graduate qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject (e.g. nursing, infection control, care for older people, midwifery).
Our ideal candidates will have an attention for detail, the experience of making difficult decisions, being accountable for those decisions and explaining them in potentially demanding environments, while regular travel throughout Scotland will be required including overnight stays.
You will also be expected to participate in other Quality Assurance Directorate activities such as reviews and investigations.
