A vacancy has arisen in the Scotland Ambulance Service for an Infection Prevention and Control Auditor. This is a national role however, predominately the work will be in central Scotland covering East and West regions. There is flexibility around the location and home working can be considered.
The successful candidate will be responsible to audit stations and vehicles in line with the Scottish Ambulance Service Infection Prevention & Control Audit Programme and as required by NHS Scotland National Cleaning Specification monitoring framework. Where necessary, revisit stations to ensure significant issues have been addressed and remedied. The post holder will also be required to provide training to Service staff (domestic and vehicle crew staff) in the appropriate cleaning methodology and standards requirement.
Candidates must have the ability to work on their own initiative and use relevant information in a systematic way to solve problems whilst demonstrating a high level of attention to detail. A driving license is essential and a service car can be provided,
Candidates should have experience of using IT systems including email, Microsoft spreadsheets and databases.
