An opportunity has arisen to join the Forensic Low secure Service (Ward 6) based at Woodland View Hospital in Irvine.
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. A genuine interest in working with persons experiencing mental health problems, supported in a low secure environment, is essential.
In collaboration with the patient and Multi-Disciplinary Team you will have delegated responsibilities for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care, ensuring that your clinical practice delivers high quality care. Additionally this role will support the Senior Charge Nurse in managing the nursing team and providing clinical leadership.
You should have a positive attitude towards enhancing the care experience of service users. You will have a willingness to engage in training opportunities to enhance your knowledge base and be able to provide evidence of professional development.
A flexible approach to shift patterns will be essential with a focus upon working across the seven day week.
This post is 37.5 hours per week.
