We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic, conscientious and highly motivated software developer / computer programmer to join a team providing medical physics services within NHS Lothian. You will be involved in projects to support and further enhance a range of clinical services. You will have experience of high level programming languages and at least one database technology. Previous experience in a scientific or engineering environment would be desirable.  
You will be qualified to degree level (or HND with equivalent experience) in computing science or software engineering, have good personal communication and organisational skills, and a polite and friendly personality. A full UK driving licence is desirable.
The post is based between the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and the Western General Hospital, but the duties cover the whole of NHS Lothian.
