Social Care Support Worker

Band 4 £23,709 to £25,982 pro rata

18.5 hour a week, Permanent

Wade Centre provides residential care services for older adults and we are looking for suitably experienced, qualified, flexible and committed individuals to join our dedicated team.

Duties of the posts include supporting individuals with the full range of daily living activities, the day-to-day personal care and welfare of the residents along with Key-Worker responsibilities. The post holder will be expected to undertake acting-up responsibilities in the absence of a senior.

 

The post holders must be able to demonstrate awareness of the complex physical, mental and emotional needs of older adults and be able to respond in an enabling way. In addition you must have experience of working in a care setting and be able to demonstrate good team working, leadership and communication skills. Candidate must be able to work shifts on rotational basis.

SVQ 3 Desirable but training will be given.
