Specialist Integration Developer

NHS Tayside has recently developed their Digital Strategy and at the heart of this lies an ambition to develop a modern Electronic Patient Record (EPR).  This is an exciting time to join NHS Tayside Digital Directorate as the Development Services Team will be key to many of the developments in this new strategy.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking an Integration Developer to join our interface development team. Candidates should have previous experience in software development with a strong background in developing system integrations.

You should have knowledge and capabilities in the following areas:

• Interface Development (knowledge of interface engines an advantage but not necessary)
• Web Service Development
• Databases (SQL Server, Oracle or Object databases)
• Solution Analysis and Design
• Software Testing

This role will include the above but is not restricted to these responsibilities.

This is a permanent, full-time post (37.5 hrs per week) within the Digital Directorate, currently based at Maryfield House, Dundee, however, location may change in the future.  We aim to provide an environment that encourages work/life balance and there is some flexibility in team remote working on a partial basis.
