Part time 22.5 per week

Band 6 - Salary Range £33,072 - £40,736 per annum (pro rata)*

Distant Island Allowance of £1,971 per annum (pro rata)

Relocation Assistance of up to £8000 available


An opportunity has arisen for a Resus Officer to join our small dynamic Practice Education Team within NHS Shetland, to organise, implement, deliver and evaluate resuscitation training programmes for all clinicians in NHS Shetland.  Working with the Resuscitation Committee in providing support for good resuscitation practice as detailed in the Resus officer role in Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation standards. This role will be supported by the Practice Education Lead and Clinical supervision from the Medical Resuscitation Officer.


Applicants must hold a current NMC or HCPC registration with relevant clinical experience, holding Resuscitation Council (UK) ILS Provider status (current certificate) and ALS desirable. Experience teaching and managing clinical emergencies and resuscitation also required. Great team working skills, ability to motivate others, able to work autonomously using own initiative and effective time management skills.
