An enthusiastic, kind and compassionate midwife is required for this post within the Community Maternity Unit (CMU) at the Royal Alexandra Hospital. The CMU is an alongside midwifery led birthing suite providing low risk intrapartum care. The post holder will be based in community and be responsible for a caseload of women, whilst also working shifts in the CMU. A full driving licence is essential for this role. This post is rotational.

You will assist the Senior Charge Midwife to deliver high quality evidence based woman and baby centred care. You will be involved in providing both individualised patient care and in planning, implementing and evaluating clinical care within all areas of the maternity service, ensuring compliance with Greater Glasgow and Clyde (GG&C) policies and procedures and maintaining statutory requirements in accordance with the NMC.”
