An exciting nursing opportunity has arisen to join a flagship national pain service based within Greater Glasgow and Clyde. This post is based within both the Scottish National Residential Pain Management Programme (SNRPMP) which is currently based at Allander House on the Gartnavel Hospital site as well as contributing to secondary care services in chronic pain.
This service was established over 6 years ago ahead and was the first of its kind in Scotland. This service provides a residential pain management programme to clients who reside in geographically remote areas or have significant levels of disability. The psychology led service is delivered by an interdisciplinary team, comprising of psychologists, physiotherapists, nurses, occupational therapists and medical colleagues who work closely together in order to deliver an individualised programme of treatment. 
The successful applicant will lead and deliver on the nursing component of the programme whilst maintaining close liaison with local pain services across Scotland.
In additional the post holder will help to deliver the nursing component of secondary care pain services alongside a wider multi-disciplinary team.
The post holder will be required to be involved in all aspects of the clinical pathway.

Applications are invited from nurses with minimum of 3 years post registration experience and preferably within a pain service. You will be require to be educated to degree level and have a passion to work with in pain management is essential.
You must also be willing to undertake Non-Medical Prescribing Module.
The shift pattern is; Mon – Fri hours to be discussed.
