An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Occupational Therapist to join the Orthopaedic Occupational Therapy Service based at the Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh.
Based in the Orthopaedic wards you will support the patient journey from early intervention, working alongside colleagues to ensure patients are discharged home effectively, and that their rehabilitation tasks place in the most appropriate environment.
You should have clinical experience working as an Occupational therapist within an acute or rehab specialty and will have the ability to assess and plan interventions in this clinical area, and offer advice and support to patients, their carers and other health care professionals.
Support, supervision and development opportunities are available through the Occupational Therapy Site Management Team, Team Lead Occupational Therapist and peer support within the team, from Occupational therapy and other colleagues.
