Are you interested to work in a progressive MSK podiatry service that puts a great emphasis on staff professional development and advancing practice?
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated HCPC registered Podiatrist with excellent communication skills to work within our team in Ayrshire and Arran in the delivery of high standard patient centred care.
We are particularly interested to recruit an experienced Podiatrist in foot and ankle MSK, who is keen to lead and further develop skills in this area and who is willing to support the development of Podiatry MSK services across our health and social care services. Our service is part of NHS Ayrshire and Arrans MSK services which includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists and orthotists. There will also be an opportunity to work closely with the multidisciplinary orthopaedic team in complex and virtual clinics.
Our service is passionate about our learning and development programme and there will be opportunities for you to be both a contributor and consumer of this programme. We promote patient self-management and rehabilitation and contribute to training programmes for other health care professionals. You will be primarily involved in supporting service improvement and staff development and hold a complex MSK Podiatry caseload providing care within the fields of rheumatology, orthopaedics, paediatrics and MSK rehabilitation.
