This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
Location - St. John’s Hospital or Bonnyrigg Health Centre
To provide administrative and clerical support to the Tissue Viability Nursing Service for NHS Lothian. This involves supporting a group of specialist nurses who are based on a number of sites across Lothian. Work will include organising/booking education sessions provided by the team, maintaining and analysing team databases as well providing day to day clerical and admin support. It may involve occasional work on other sites to support individuals in the team
To provide advice and information to staff contacting the Tissue Viability Service, usually by email/telephone.
Evidence of eESS training to manage and maintain study day programmes for internal and external candidates
HNC or Level 2/3 Certificate in Excel or equivalent experience to develop, maintain and analyse team databases
Experience of using SSTS/Payroll systems/PECOS
Experience of using Microsoft word and maintaining shared-drive filings systems
Ability to work independently using own initiative, to prioritise and manage workload provided by multiple team members.
Be able to discuss and develop ideas related to work plans
Experience of using Microsoft Publisher and maintaining webpages would be desirable but further training could be provided
