This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse to join the COPD Nurse Team in Dundee. The aim of the Dundee Health and Social Care Partnership COPD Programme is to improve the quality of life of patients with COPD, ensuring that the highest standard of care is given.
You will work within the COPD nursing team and manage your own caseload. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care requirements of a diverse client group with complex health and social care needs. This role is one in which you would be expected to act as a clinical leader practicing autonomsly. The applicant would be expected to work in a manner in keeping with the principles of person centredness supporting safe and effective care.
You should have a COPD diploma or Equivalent and have NMP Qualification or working towards it and have experience in primary care/community settings.
You should also be able to demonstrate you can effectively manage your own time, and have good evidence of ongoing professional development.
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the NMC Register.
