An exciting permanent opportunity is available for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join CAMHS Occupational Therapy Team, working in Glasgow HSCP Tier 3 CAMHS Team. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary Tier 3 CAMHS service for children and young people up to age 18years with severe to moderate mental health disorder engaging in both team assessment as well as Occupational Therapy assessment, intervention, individual and group work. The post will include a work plan with multi-disciplinary work, OT assessment and intervention of children and young people where mental health impact on participation in everyday life and activities, those with emerging eating disorders and neurodevelopmental profiles and developing a group work programme with the OT Team. The Occupational Therapy Team consists of Band 7, Band 6 and Band 5s with access to Band 4 generic HCSW.  The CAMHS MDTs within Glasgow are innovative and developing new ways of working together for the best outcomes for the CYP who require to access the service. This post is a great opportunity to join a great team and demonstrate the added value of Occupational Therapy as they continue to transform how they deliver the service following the Scottish Government Mental Health Recovery and Renewal Funding.  You are required to be HCPC registered, be able to evidence transferrable skills to the post from previous placements or work and be willing to learn and develop within our service. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and enjoys being part of an enthusiastic team. You must be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills when working with children, young people and their carers.  We are committed to Continued Professional Development and Reflective Practice. A range of training and support for your professional development will be provided. We have regular supervision and reflective practice in place to support good practice.  The post is split across 2 teams within Glasgow HSCP.
