​​​​​​​​​​​​​​We have an exciting opportunity for a Patient Flow Manager to join our team at University Hospital Monklands.

The post holder will work as an autonomous practitioner, and have responsibility for the day to day management and leadership of bed management services including supervision and development of junior staff and will provide clinical leadership related to effective bed management, including the delegation of key tasks and development of staff and will support the effective placement of patients within the appropriate speciality.

The post holder will provide support and guidance to staff in relation to sign posting to specialist provision to assist in discharge planning processes and will have responsibility for assessment of care needs and the development of programmes of care, and / or the implementation and evaluation of these programmes ensuring the patient’s journey through the hospital delivers the required care.
