Are you looking to develop your Occupational Therapy career?
We are looking to recruit an experienced Occupational Therapist to our service with an interest in palliative care. The post provides an excellent opportunity to work with patients in the home and community hospital environments. The caseload is a mix of older adults, physical disability, palliative and long-term conditions. As part of their role the post holder will provide a specialist lead in palliative care across Angus for OT services. Full support will be given to develop this.
You will be located within Whitehill Health and Community Care Centre, Forfar where we work closely with the multi-disciplinary team and are co-located with our Physiotherapy colleagues. The Occupational Therapy Service in Angus offers comprehensive support, supervision and is committed to Continued Professional Development and actively uses Turas.
You should possess a BSc/Dip COT in Occupational Therapy, have previous post graduate experience, be registered with HCPC and must produce evidence of continuing personal development. A requirement of this post is a willingness to travel across the locality.
Hours of work are: 24 hours per week
