The Independent Living Review Team works with individuals and care staff in the community in Dundee City to create a culture of enablement, independence and supported self-management, reviewing and reducing the need for packages of care.
We are looking for an AHP Support Worker with a genuine interest in rehabilitation, a positive approach to integrated team working and a clear and confident ability to promote the value of Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy interventions.
As the successful applicant you will have relevant experience working as an AHP Support Worker within rehabilitation service, possess good communication and decision making skills and have a positive approach to multidisciplinary working within an integrated team.
You will work in partnership with service users to provide Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy interventions within their own home with the support of qualified staff.
We provide excellent formal and informal supervision; actively support individual development through performance development review, learning plans and CPD; and promote and welcome quality improvement and innovative practise.
In line with current evidence and the strategic direction of NHS Tayside, the Allied Health Professions will be moving towards 7 day working. This is for improved outcomes and to maximise a person-centred equitable approach to care. (NB Currently we do not provide a 7-day service).
