Job Advert

Senior Analyst EiC Magnet Programme (full time, fixed term 12 months)

NHS Grampian is an intelligence led organisation with a reputation of drawing on high quality analytics to inform public health, planning, performance and improvement.  We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and forward-thinking person to join our team.

Our team has highly developed skills in: information extraction and manipulation of large datasets; application of relevant statistical approaches to complex problems; identification of data patterns; predictive modelling; information interpretation and data visualisation skills.  If you are looking to grow your skills and can demonstrate potential we offer the opportunity to work with a broad range of stakeholders such as public health consultants, acute sector colleagues and local authorities, along with other health boards and national health bodies.

We are a busy team and are much in demand, so the ability to deal with pressure is important.  In return, we can offer flexible working arrangements and opportunities for development and progression.  Continuous professional development and research is important to us and we provide the opportunity to develop academic links with the University of Aberdeen and the Aberdeen Centre for Health Data Science.

The post-holder will provide intelligence to support and influence nursing and midwifery quality improvement and planning decisions across Grampian.  This will include developing and interpreting automated dashboards in Tableau focussed on the care process and outcomes for patients in acute and community settings for Excellence in Care (EiC) and the Magnet Programme.  There will be a requirement to contribute to, and attend national EiC meetings.
