An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced nurses to join a multi-disciplinary team leading the West of Scotland thrombectomy service.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic and innovative team developing and embedding thrombectomy care across Greater Glasgow & Clyde. This role will provide clinical expertise to the stroke service in the assessment, treatment and post interventional monitoring of stroke patients.
You must have the ability and commitment to work as part of a team delivering high standards of patient care and continue to improve patient experience. You must demonstrate the ability to provide effective day-to-day leadership and management of the nursing team within the unit, acting as a clinical expert. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be able to demonstrate continued professional development and an interest in Acute Stroke Care. The ideal candidate will have completed Stroke TIA Assessment Training (STAT), STAT+, have completed Stroke Training and Awareness Resource Advancing Modules and have an understanding of the Scottish Stroke Care Audit and Standards.
