An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the Urology Nursing Team within the surgery and orthopaedics Department. The applicant will project manage the review of patients in the community who carry out intermittent catheterisation. They will work in partnership with a wide range of clinicians, pharmacists, managers to ensure full engagement in the project objectives. This 18month post requires the individual to work flexibly across NHS Tayside. The successful applicant will demonstrate a high level of clinical and professional practice, bringing with them extensive skills, knowledge and experience in working with patients with urological conditions. They will have excellent communication and decision making skills and be able to work autonomously
Applicants should be registered on either Part 1 or Part 12 of the NMC Register and have previous experience in Urology. You will be educated to degree level demonstrating an understanding of quality improvement and service development.
Internal Candidates - Written approval must be sought from your line manager prior to applying for a secondment. You will be required to bring this if shortlisted for interview.
Hours per week 37.5 Fixed Term for 18 months
