This is an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time Implementation Support & Training Officer to join the EHealth team based at  NHSL Headquarters-Kirklands, Bothwell.

 A full valid UK driving licence holder will be essential for this position to meet the needs of the service.

The shift pattern is Monday to Friday 9 am - 5 pm.

The Support & Training Officer will be required to design, deliver and evaluate training programmes. Coordinate and run IT training programmes for staff in NHS Lanarkshire (NHSL), including user guides and procedures, which support the implementation of new computer systems within Lanarkshire. As part of the eHealth Programme Implementation & Support Training team, the post holder will liaise directly with users of Lanarkshire Applications to assess their training requirements and be responsible for maintaining and producing summary information about the training delivered. Provide support to Managers and Departments during and after the implementation process.

The successful candidate will provide the following Knowledge, Training and/or Experience:

  •  Educated to HNC level, preferably in a computing-related subject and preferably possessing a formal training qualification, for example, IITT accreditation.
  • The ability to effectively design and deliver training and development packages and work to tight deadlines.
  •  Experience in a healthcare environment, for example, experience in an operational department, and be able to demonstrate an understanding of interdepartmental relationships.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, e.g.Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint.
