Working within Specialist Children’s Services in Greater Glasgow and Clyde, which encompasses Community Paediatrics, CAMHS & Acute Paediatrics, you will be

passionate about addressing the health and wellbeing needs of children, young people and their families.  You will work in multi-disciplinary teams whose aim is to provide high quality support, assessment and interventions in line with evidence based practice and national policies/ agendas.  You will have knowledge and experience of working in teams where care is coordinated and you will fully understand the impact of integrated care and services. You will be dietetic registered and have relevant experience in planning and providing person centered and outcome based care. A strong culture of support, development, CPD, reflective practice and supervision exists to maximise our patients’ experience, safety and outcomes and your career progression. We are ambitious in our visioning for the future and are clear about the need to further develop integrated services that ensure that children, young people and families receive the right support, at the right time and in a way that best meets their needs. As such, you will be required to be person centered and innovative in your thinking and practice, with excellent ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with children, young people, their families, health and partner agencies  This post is part of Hosted Tier 4 CAMHS which provide mental health services in the community and through the regional and national inpatient units. Working in Tier 4 CAMHS offers the opportunity to be involved with a diverse service user population. We are committed to providing person centered care, trauma informed care and compassionate care in order to help young people on the road to recovery.  This post is to provide professional leadership for dietetics across SCS including Tier 3 and 4 CAMHS to enable development of dietetics in relation to eating disorder pathways and disordered eating presentations. At the heart of this post is compassionate leadership and ensuring that professional governance and standards are values, understood and developed. You will be required to link with service manager across NHSGGC and develop the strategic requirement for dietetics and how dietetics can be delivered in new and innovative ways. You would be supported in this role linking with the Clinical Service Manager for Dietetics and with the professional leadership structure within Specialist Children’s Services to ensure that you have the professional development you require.
