This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join the senior management team in the Interim as the Redesign of Urgent Care Programme Manager for NHS Tayside. This is while the existing post holder is taking forward some critical corporate portfolios for a fixed term period to March 2023.


Evidence of prior leadership and management experience, innovation, clinical governance and excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. You will have support from the senior team in the Medicine Division and work closely with the Clinical Care Group Manager, Lead Nurse and Clinical Director (Unscheduled Medicine) and the Clinicians aligned to the Redesign of Urgent Care work streams. You will develop strong links with our partners in community settings; work closely with the Out of Hours Service, NHS24 and the Scottish Ambulance Service. This role has a remit that is Tayside wide and the post holder will be required to represent NHS Tayside on national Redesign of Urgent Care groups.

 

This role is vital in delivering the Scottish Government Redesign of Urgent Care vision within Tayside. Strong Leadership is required and interaction with internal and external stakeholders is essential to ensure collaborative working across the health and care system to support the delivery of high quality person centred care.

 

This will be a secondment until March 2023 and is an excellent development opportunity for an individual who has Programme Management experience and has a working knowledge of clinical services, development of patient pathways, service planning and for this particular post knowledge of urgent and emergency care services.


Your performance must comply with the national “Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers 2009” and with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers.

Hours of work are:  1 full-time post ~ 37.50hrs per week
