We are currently recruiting a Security Manager to ensure effective safety and security arrangements are in place for the entire estate of NHS Highland. Our new Security Manager will lead on strategic and operational management of safety and security for NHS Highland. You will design, draft and disseminate overarching safety and security plans and crisis management plans and attendance structures, and will advise Team Leaders in the field including deploying with large responses as required.

Your nominal base will be Raigmore Hospital in Inverness, but part of your role will be to continuously review NHS Highland estates, which will involve travel throughout the area. 

All our sites must be ready to respond when epidemics, health crises and natural disasters hit.  Security teams must have the leadership, knowledge and infrastructure to support all services. We are core partners, providing the clinical component and key support to all highland structures and Medical Teams.

Our ideal candidate will bring significant security expertise working in the security, customer service sector (expected to be at least 5 years) including in rural environments.
